HUGE!! Trump to end birthright citizenship!!!

It did not change the Constitution. It settled a case based on constitutional principles.

Settling a single case is ok. The problem is the SC declares their decisions to be the "law of the land" and the constitution says only congress can write laws.

All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a congress of the united states

Trump is trying to change the meaning of the Constitution through an executive order. The Supreme Court has the power to interpret the Constitution and has done so hundreds of times--so they obviously have the power to do so even if you disagree

1. Where does the constitution say the SC has authority to interpret the constitution? The tenth amendment gives that power to the states or the people.

2. Where do you draw the line between interpreting the constitution and rewriting it?

America is a short hand term to refer to the United States of America.
No, America is a continent, divided into North and South America. I can't believe I actually have to tell you what 'America' means.
It is like the "Federative Repubic of Brazil," the "United Mexican States," or the "Russian Federation."
There are no such continents.
The United States government does not issue passports to illegal immigrants, but it does issue passports to children of illegal immigrants born here because they are U. S. citizens.
They won't be doing that anymore, once the executive order is signed.
The states issue birth certificates to children of illegal immigrants born in the U. S. and classifies them as U. S. citizens.
They won't be doing that anymore, once the executive order is signed.

You said the federal government issued birth certificates. They don't.

The United States of America is the official name of a country located on the North American continent. It is often referred to as just "America" by people all over the world.

And who decides if Congress has exceeded those legislative powers? The Supreme Court meaning they are interpreting the Constitution and that sometimes involves changing the meaning (Brown changed the meaning from Plessy).

WRONG. The Supreme Court has no authority over the Constitution. They can neither interpret it nor change it.

But they have interpreted and sometimes changed the meaning of the Constitution since the beginning of the Republic in hundreds of cases. So what you claim they cannot do they have been doing over 200 years. Your theory would put no checks on the powers of the president or Congress.
