Statements not made under oath are not testimony. So far the only testimony is hers. Hand writing analysis will tell us who is lying, but otherwise the note is unimportant, unlike an out of control President going after the driver of his security vehicle and throwing food and dishes at the wall.

It's a fact finding committee, not a trial.

Hence, the rules of evidence are not the same.

If another party wants to appear and rebut anything said, the committee welcomes them.

Why doesn't the driver himself publicly deny what she said, and why doesn't he himself say he is willing to sit for an interview with the Jan 6 commission?

impeaching a witness by her direct lies is bad enough, the Committee allows no dissent
there isn't any "cross" ( opposite party questioning, or bringing oposing witnesses)
