In the big scheme of things, I don't think that the steering wheel thing matters. We now have incontrovertible proof that #TRE45ON knew that the crowd had weapons. He knew that violence was going to take place. He conspired with others to make it so. He demanded that the people with weapons be allowed to pass through the metal detectors. Even though he wasn't physically present at the terrorist attack, he continued to urge them to hang Pence. His co-conspirators asked for pardons. One of them took the Fifth numerous times in his compelled testimony.
In my not-very-humble opinion, those still supporting this corrupt criminal are not patriots who love America. They are deluded dupes who support fascism.

A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.

There's a reason why hearsay isn't allowed in a courtroom. What it does in an investigation is to give evidence for additional investigation. If the agents need to be called back and testify publicly, they will be....and I think We, the People need to hear both agents testify about their knowledge of Trump and his actions prior to 1/6 and on the day of the planned coup.
