This is what they do to a guy whose book has as its first lines how much Obama is a citizen and we shouldn't bring that up. Imagine what they'll try to somebody who mentions the lack of paper trail.
"They" are the people "interpreting" his remarks. Read the story, somebody else pretty much just says, 'Well this is what he meant by saying that'...Who are "they," and what in the heck are you talking about?
It's Hucklebee speaking. He's not a victim...
Another Guy who claims to be a christian yet cant seem to manage not bearing false witness against his neighbor.
If you cant even follow the religion you CHOSE for yourself then how can I trust you with my repressentation?
Dont expect me to vote for someone who cant even follow what they believe let alone follow what I voted for them to do.
Desh, no one expects you to vote for anyone with an R next to their name. The other stuff is irrelevent.
As if you cared. When Clinton didn't follow his chosen religion and continued to sleep around all you had was defense.Another Guy who claims to be a christian yet cant seem to manage not bearing false witness against his neighbor.

Most of this is true, and having somebody named Barack as President takes a bit of a sting out of the Newt name. He's done. Personally I don't think he ever stood a real chance. His social views are just too steeped in the doctrine of the religious right wing. Not that that is a suprise or anything, just that too large number of americans don't want that in a president. Too many of us really like our porn, our weed... our dance with decadence. Hucky and others like him just don't get that, or if they do they want to put as much of an end to it as they can. I think a state-wide office is about as far as he could ever go politically.
Not that it matters all that much anyway, they, (other republicans), are all done now that Newt is in. He will beat them silly, at least he ought to. He's the best informed, smartest, candidate out there for the right. He is a conservative who can articulate his positions better than anyone else the repubs can run and still sound like a reasonable person.
I think Obama can beat him though, at least I hope he can.

Newt was able to show directly that he could lead with the 1994 Contract and subsequent historic upswing for Rs. He has a real chance of being the candidate, and has avoided having his own show, which IMO will actually work negatively for Gov. Huckabee.
