HRC more popular than...

They were talking about a Trump/Hillary matchup today on "Morning Joe," with Chuck Todd as guest.

Trump has torn down mercilessly pretty much anyone who either stood in his way or posed any kind of threat. And none of those candidates had nearly as much to hone in on as Hillary does. He'll tweet & innuendo her until the end with every conspiracy and perceived scandal that she's got.

I think he'll actually trounce her in the general election. Which is more a testament to how weird America is these days - but he represents some new kind of campaigning that I don't think even the Clintons are ready for.

I am not sure it is 'new' campaigning, rather, a herald back to maybe 1800's style campaigning.

I didn't do the poll. Is it this particular poll you have a problem with because you don't like the numbers or is it all polling?

All polling. I've gotten phone polls from liberal groups that you could tell were worded to get a particular response, not just conservative polls.

Fair enough. I guess we all can choose to believe polling or not. I don't think this particular poll is an outlier based on others I've seen.

I know its very popular to hate HRC in some circles and it seems that often the assumption is made that she is as unpopular among the general public...

Actually, she is seen more positively than... The Republican Party in General, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, JEB! Bush, or Donald Trump.

/grins......this is the same poll I cited as saying Trump was going to lose SC.....you didn't like it then.........
by the way, you read it wrong......she has a negative rating of 50.....that is better than Trump......but worse than everyone else.....

however, this is good news for Hillary.....she has been running as high as 57% negative......

I don't know Thing, my Republican friends say if it is Trump, they won't vote. This is not going to be a boring election for sure.

I've heard that from Republicans, too. But things change fast - I mean, there is no one most Republicans want to see elected less than Hillary. If faced w/ that stark choice, I think more would hold their nose & pull the lever for Trump than would care to admit it now.

I like to think there is no way Trump could get elected - but I've been wrong about virtually everything Trump-related since he started running.

THIS!!!!

I would cast a vote for Bernie, but neither Hillary nor Trump will get a vote from me.

My democrat friends say that if it is Hillary they are staying home. They think she is a crook and killed people at Benghazi

With Rand out of the race, I have options on my side come May 12th in Warshington. If I can go caucus, I can support whoever Trump's nearest opponent is (Rubio/Cruz/Kacich, most likely). As for the voting, I can choose to play in the Dem categories, and give Bernie a vote. Or I can vote for whomever I caucus for.

In the general, I don't see Trump or the legitimate GOP candidates carrying WA, so I will vote for Gary Johnson. If someone other than Bloomberg decides to cash-in on the high negativity of Trump/Clinton, I could even vote for a worthwhile independent campaign, but time seems to be running out on that ship.
