How young is "significantly younger" than 17?

Lauran Boebert has announced that she will be a 36 year old grandmother, just like her own mother was a 36 year old grandmother. Her 17 year old son got a girl pregnant. No word on the girl's exact age, but she is "significantly younger" than Boebert's 17 year old son, and not in high school yet...

Boebart is acting like this is a great thing. I simply do not understand Republican values.

When you get an answer maybe we will talk. Currently there is not enough information available. I have a cousin who got preggers on purpose at 13 with a much older guy in order to get out of the house, so you never should assume that it is all the guys fault.

I am sorry to hear about the child sexual abuse in your family. It was child sexual abuse, even if it was self-abuse.

So how did your cousin force the much older man to have sex with her? Did she hold a gun to his head? Drug him?

If she just offering to have sex that makes it statutory rape by the much older man. If a child offers to have sex with an adult, a non-child abuser refuses. I could understand a mistake being made, in a borderline case, where it was unclear, but 13 years old and a "much older man" is not borderline.
