How weak schools serve Trump's agenda

I doubt that. The money is sourced from real estate property taxes.
People who adhere to objective standards and evidence based thought should control the schools.
Not Christians with their belief in the supernatural origins, life after death, climate science denial,
vaccine delusions, abstinence, banjo music and unhealthy hygiene and food.
You would "doubt that".

We've said goodbye to Bibles in schools, we've also said goodbye to prayer, and even the pledge of allegiance for God's sake, and you still doubt?

Fuck you, Mic.

Oh, and objective standards and evidence based thought? My ass. Climate science? Uh-uh. It's more like climate hysteria. Vaccine delusions? Tell me, pervert, tell me about all the times we've seen outbreaks of of the diseases today's vaccines are supposed to prevent.

And what's wrong with abstinence, you fucking condom dispenser? Saving one's self for marriage is not only virtuous, but it's just plain wise.

Also, I hate banjo music, and I brush my teeth daily and take two showers per day, MINIMUM. We're also in constant search for clean food, and we take it back if we find it unsatisfactory.

No, today's schools are smothered in leftism, and you perverts still can't shut the fuck up.

Here is something you and others might find interesting about this topic: https://nationalaffairs.com/publications/detail/the-real-obama-education-legacy

I went to private schools my whole life and vending machines weren't part of that. Neither did my children's schools allow vending machines.

Seems like a lot of stubbornness to prevent any reform from working.. but, I remember as far back as 1970 the conservative fury over "liberal" schools.. and the ones making the most noise had never been to college at all.

Odd that in my state, the few liberal areas are where the public schools excel. The top high school in the state is in the most liberal part of the most liberal city. Where are the shitty schools? In the backwater, redneck areas of the state. Those are the areas where NRA and Trump bumper stickers abound.

Obviously Gomer you never went to a good school.

People with higher education don't make good soldiers for Republican wars and don't make good workers in Republican defense contractor factories.

why do all weak schools seem to be in Demmycrat controlled urban areas?......

if true

its because people love their children and want the schools their children attend to be better

They see the republicans actions destroy their schools and starve them to death

that makes them realize the republican party is a con job

In some red states I understand the schools are excellent. I was considering moving to college station recently, Texas.
Ted Cruz signs in every yard. Overbuilt, upscale housing everywhere and top notch school system for the kiddos.

Just being honest here. I wish that investment in public ed was the case everywhere. But it isn't always bad in red state.
Of course that is Texas &M is the reason that place exists and faculty demands that the kids have good instruction
if they are going to move to a place without much else to offer as far a cuisine and culture compared to the elite coast schools.

The educational system in America, from primary to advanced, has been controlled by liberals for decades. Their unions have harmed that system, irreparably. The incestuous relationship between those unions and the Democrats in Congress has done much harm to America...and continues to do harm.

every time it is proven we need to spend more on education to make it better the republicans have screamed non stop "throwing money at the problem"

republican have starved our public schools of money for decades

they hate education

they don't want the people educated

Obviously Gomer you never went to a good school.

Obviously, spudpeeler, I finished a higher level of education by junior high than you EVER had. Once a 6th grade spudpeeler, ALWAYS a 6th grade spudpeeler!

Tell us again, illiterate fuckwad about:

23%
-41%
"Air"

And one more time about your claim that Kushner wasn't DENIED the security access. That illiterate gem was a real knee-slapper! :rofl2:

all my life the republicans have said

"Throwing money at the problem"

every time schools asked for better funding they denied it and screamed that phrase as the reason

The Myth of ‘Throwing Money at the Problem’

If there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that we can’t fix what’s wrong with education in America simply by throwing money at the problem. That’s what people keep saying anyway. It sounds like it makes sense, right? “Throwing money” doesn’t sound like a good course of action. It sounds reckless, wasteful, and futile.
Here’s the odd thing about “throwing money.” The phrase only seems to be used when people are talking about education. I’ve never heard this argument used in any business context. Nobody talks about “throwing money.” Instead, we either call it investing (if you have the money) or financing (if you have an initiative that needs funding).
If you do a quick Google search for the phrase “you can’t solve the problem by throwing money at it” (and it’s variations) you’ll see that approximately 60 percent of the time that expression comes up is in reference to education. The remaining 40 percent of instances are divided amongst other areas of the economy. The phrase doesn’t usually get tossed around many corporate boardrooms, so the other problems that can’t be fixed with money all seem to also be societal problems. Apparently, money is also powerless to make any dent in areas such as homelessness or children living below the poverty line.

remember the phrase "a permanent majority"

this was part of the plan

make MORE uneducated voters who tend to vote for republicans more than educated people
