As to your question, about Obama: Yes, that makes him an authoritarian by usurping--by his own words which you quote--the power of the legislative branch of government. Your third paragraph makes it almost parody to have you say he's doing this for "the good of the country." That's what all dictators say as they murder the opposition...

Strange is it not (save for fools like you) that you would consider Obama to be an authoritarian when he was faced with an obstructionist Congress, and used the methods available to him, yet your gawd you allow to skate even though he had a compliant group of cocks**kers who, like you, cared not if he violated the Constitution, or the law.

Yet, today we have Democrats talking seriously about packing the Supreme Court, adding states to cement their advantage in Congress and retain control, and another President using mostly executive orders to govern all of which adds up to an increasingly one-party totalitarian government. All the while, those like you continue screaming "It's the Republicans who are (fascist, totalitarian, authoritarian, repressive--take your pick).

Not a shred of reasoned argument behind what you say but you persist in claiming it anyway.

So? It's clear, as with FDR's attempt, that the purpose is to change the political make up of the court to advantage the party in power. That's court packing. Offering a red herring defense doesn't and won't change that.

Biden is tryijg to do what is necessary to bring some legitimacy to the Court system by appointing QUALIFIED persons o the Court, not ideological toadies your kind wishes for.
