Interesting now watching conservatives and their media attempt to normalize Trump, it's as if everything he did and said while campaigning was acceptable because he "was campaigning," Call your fellow Republicans "losers," liars," weaklings," "little," attack their wives, their families, and everything now is just copacetic because it was "campaigning."

And I remember when conservatives used to tell us they stood for principle and honor

They certainly aren't too concerned with it in their efforts to normalize the Donald, even Cruz, who Trump labeled a "liar," attacked his wife, and implied that his father may have been associated with Kennedy's assassination, was quick to jump up and kiss the Donald's ring And Cruz was suppose to be one of the "highly principled" conservatives

Hillary and the liberals lost

:dealwithit:

Not all that different than what Bernie and his supporters said about Hillary. Come the general that all went out the window. And they said the exact same things the Republicans said "we need to unite behind our candidate because of how bad the opponent is".

Not a Republican here - not a con either..I'll cop to being a moderate populist.

inter-party campaigns are by nature internecine warfare -when that is over we go back to the same partisan warfare..

That is not the same thing. They are trying to work together for the betterment of the country.

Trump's campaign wasn't just another political campaign, no one else refereed to their opponents as "losers," etc., nor attacked their spouses and families

Its was not a pretty sight to see the Republicans get into the gutter in order to fight gutter dwellers....but...............IT WORKED !

you kidding, the next four years are going to be nothing but pure entertainment for those that think left, you have the task of defending the guy, when's the Wall going up?

Bernie talked about his campaign being a revolution. Some revolution when you turn around and immediately support the ruler you railed against.

Bernie also had to settle for the lesser of two evils thanks to the traitor wasserman.
