I'd say that plutocracy with almost all wealth taken by a few, and used to buy our elections, violates the society and principles our nation was founded on.

The issue of money in politics is far larger than one campaign. The American people are attacked by a massive right-wing propaganda machine daily and Republican politicians serve the wealthy donors, not the people.

the problem is business is heavily taxed@ 35%, so they don't reinvest profits.. it's cheaper for them to buy bonds or whatever.

Tax reform is the key to GDP growth.
GDP growth yields increased tax revenues which we can use to pay for Medicade expansion,
and the entitlement crunch

The Dems were outspending the Repubs.
The problem is huge spending by both sides -but at least there is free social media now -
and that a main source where millenials get their newz

Totally wrong again. They're UNDERTAXED, they pay HALF the nominal rate of 35%, and it's because they're UNDERTAXED they don't reinvest the money. They are keeping $2.7 trillion sitting offshore to blackmail the country into not taxing it. GDP growth SHOULD do the things you say but it DOESN'T because it's all sent to the few at the top where they use it to REDUCE things like Medicaid expansion and the entitlements needed because they took all the money.

The Democrats aren't perfect in this but they aren't nearly as bad as the repubs. For example, Hillary's top individual donor was a hedge fund manager - but his only priority for her was campaign finance reform - the opposite of big Republican donors like the Koch brothers, who have an utterly anti-American agenda for their own benefit. You aren't listening - for example, trump got BILLIONS in free media time that won him the election that aren't shown in campaign donations.

Spare me, 16 of the 20 top donors, donated to the DNC the Koch brothers were listed as number 59.
