Once again, what does that have to do with the fact that Woodward supposedly could have saved lives. And said nothing. A supposed Journalist. All to sell a book.

My point is that neither trump nor his supporters can claim the book is full of lies when it's been backed up on tape in 18 interviews.

You don't really have a problem with lefties. Your problem is with trump. I'm thinking of some variation of the phrase that you don't put a fox in charge of the henhouse. Woodward = fox, trump = henhouse. trump should have been very cautious about what he said but as usual he went off like a loose cannon, never thinking of the repercussions.

Yes. The book shows that a "journalist" could have brought this perceived emergency to the public's attention. And did not. For book sales. That kind of calls into question anything the zipperhead wrote.

This is a stretch, even for you. Nothing about this book was hidden from trump right from the start. trump failed in his handling of the virus and it's no one's fault but his own. What you're trying to do is pass the buck.

Why is it a stretch? If it is such a stretch, why is he lamely attempting to defend himself from it now? There is no passing the buck at all. Trump said why he did it. He did not want to create a panic. Agree with it or not, that was his call. If it was such a wrong call, and one that everyone should have known about, one would have thought a real Journalist would have made it known.

No other world leader lied about the virus and none of those countries panicked.

Trump lied to you, you toiled that lie, and now you're trying to convince yourself it's not a big deal that you got used.
