The jury was convinced that Trump was there, regardless of the fact that Ms. Carroll did not know the date. This is our jury system, whether you like it or not. I happened to believe it is the best system in the world.

I don’t know what a jury would do with the criminal standard.

In the Civil case they believe he did what Mrs. Carroll said he did.

None of that is evidence it actually happened. You understand that right? This case was based on nothing but a person's claim. That's it. Not a stitch of evidence but it got trump and that's really what mattered not the supposed rape.
