Interesting. They made him liable for touching, etc. but specifically did not find him liable for rape.

It will be interesting to see how this goes forward. I have seen, in the past, lawyers for Trump promising stuff that never comes to fruition. Personally I think he's damaged goods. Sometimes, even if you are decent, politics can smear you over time and sometimes, even if it isn't justified, you cannot recover in time to win an election.

It is my opinion that often Trump hasn't even been decent as a candidate, as an explanation: from "just start kissing" to "grab them by the pussy" Trump has done himself no favors in regard to these kind of things. I mean, back in the day all it took to ruin Gary Hart was to tell them to follow him around, so they did and aboard the "Hanky Panky" he was filmed with a girl on his lap. With Trump he got past "grab them by the pussy" and constant cheating on his wife to become the President. I just don't think he'll do it a second time. But then I was wrong the first time, and I even voted for the caricature of a man.

I do not think Trump is a rapist either. We all know that for many years he preyed on beautiful women and girls and was a sexual abuser.

But him being found guilty of rape is his own fault on many levels. He wasn't willing to come in, face his accuser, face his jury, take the oath, and tell the truth on his own behalf. And this wasn't even a criminal trial, and lucky for him it wasn't.

In fact he tried to lie his way out of this by denying he even knew the woman.

Had he just told the truth in court, "Yes, I knew her, and the event did happen, and I flirted with her, and may have even touched her improperly by today's standards, BUT I DID NOT RAPE HER"! And even apologized to her in court.

I think he could have saved himself.

But no, Donnie does not admit any guilt, and he does not apologize for anything. AND HE USES LYING AS A STRATEGY FOR EVERYTHING, and he has lived his entire life that way.

And this is one lie that did not go his way!
