Iran has been supporting the shites in Iraq since shortly after the u s invasion of Iraq

what i wonder is why our government/military has not been forthcoming about this

i also suspect that Iran has been supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan - after all, where does the Taliban ET AL get the money for the vehicles and explosives that they use with such regularity

ps i do not support either the war in Iraq or Afghanistan
 
I would have thought it was fairly obvious where they get the money, you need look no further than your nearest street corner. By the way, did you know that it was Truman who precipitated the introduction of heroin into Afghanistan in the first place.

You are probably also unaware that the Iranians played a large part in getting rid of the Taliban after 2001.

We put the Shah in power in Iran. They've pretty much hated us since then.

i wonder sometimes if there has been any modern foreign policy that has worked...maybe Libya

why is it that the us cannot leave things well enough alone

we seem to go into areas where we do not understand the culture and try to impose our culture on the residents

is it any wonder that the rest of the world has a love/hate relationship with the us - they hate for what we do and envy our wealth
