The fact that they've spent months kindly asking Trump to return documents before entering with a warrant (which is a privilege regular Joes like you and me would never enjoy) proves, if anything, that the DOJ really didn't want to do this to a former POTUS unless it was deemed absolutely necessary. Hell, we wouldn't have even known about the raid if Trump hadn't blabbered about it.
