Right, that you don't get to say that "this was a threat" and then "these people are not a threat" like this thread does. Only one of the things can be true.

You should be talking to Jarod, who has informed you that those folks were never a threat and that they never will be and who dismissed what happened on the 6th by saying that nobody "took up arms"...

Either you believe that this was a real threat to democracy, or, like Jarod here, you think that there was never a threat. You can't do both at once.

You need to ask Jarod why he thinks that they are not a threat. It was his claim. I am unsure why you cannot actually speak to the person who has made the claim you object to rather than pretend someone else who pointed out the claim and how it made no sense is somehow the reason for the claim that the person made.
