I only label those as mentally ill who I sincerely believe truly have issues. It's clear that a lot of the very angry people on JPP do have mental issues, often combined with self-medication of some sort. Agreed on Earl. I suspect head injury or some other crippling trauma cut his career short.
People are who constantly angry, threatening and violent are clearly not very happy people, regardless of any claims to the contrary. They are clearly irrational. Unstable.
