House Speaker Mike Johnson has announced that he is releasing all J6 tapes today

Dude would be better releasing the Nixon Tapes....the committee hearings are over, we got all the footage needed and still.....Trump is leading the polls. So do us a favor, loser and release some meaningful bills, that will help seniors, help young ppl with school loans and affordable healthcare measures...else shut the fuck up

Why did it take him so long? IMO you can't trust any politician.

Taking so long for what? We all saw the footage, we got Trumps words on tape....I don't see the need....what I do hope is that the law gets off its ass and put this man where he belongs and that's behind bars...anybody not knowing the Trump saga, has been in a coma for the last half of this decade...the man is every where

Even if what you say is 100% true (which it isn't), the officer that shot her did so in violation of federal use of force guidelines and should have been charged with manslaughter or murder for his actions.
Wrong. You were wrong the first 4 times you had this discussion, and you will continue to be wrong every time you bring it up.

I’m sorry this violently, mentally ill person was killed, but as she was spearheading an angry mob as they advanced toward the Vice President while chanting about murdering him. It seems to be a justifiable use of force.

She was neither violent nor mentally ill. That's Soviet - Nazi-like thinking to attribute to someone highly negative characteristics they never displayed. The person who shot her however was supposedly a trained police officer, and a senior one who was a supervisor. He should have known better than to shoot her as he did. But he chose to do so anyway, and worse, after shooting her fled the scene.

It was a totally unjustified use of force.

I am absolutely correct and you can offer nothing--NOTHING-- in defense of the officer's actions in terms of his training, or the law. His actions were clearly illegal and wrong.

And?

Did you think they are really going to reveal something different? That it was just a tourist event? No police were attacked? No property damaged? That Pence wasn’t quickly escorted out in fear of his safety?

One thing the GOP has mastered and thats the art of Deflection. They all rushed to vacation for the holidays and ol Mike on his way out decided to give us all something to feast on during Thanksgivings.....worthless tapes of Jan 6. I personally would have prefered a turkey.

I don't think there is one post in the history of this board from a conservative objecting to any one of the hundreds of unarmed black men who were shot by police.

Most have posted something along the lines of 'they shouldn't have broken the law if they didn't want to get shot.'

LOL....had that crazy bitch and all them left behind white lunatics been ppl of color.....not one single body would have survived that day, not one. So I love how the use of force guidelines are mentioned here, when unarmed, non threatening Brianna Taylor's body got 21 bullets and the cops all walked. Yet you lunatics keep wanting to immortalize the female nut that got a deserved BULLET FOR TRUMP!! Who to this day, has never not only mentioned her name, but has yet to thank her!!

Nope. I'm not hashing it out again. She was warned to stand down, and she refused.

Now she's dead.

Pretty simple concept.

As has been mentioned, B. Taylor was in her own home and the murderers walked.

The one that perplexed and angered me the most was the murder of George Floyd. His life was snuffed out on video - everyone saw it - Chauvin was found guilty in 2 courts of law for Floyd's murder - but the nazi conspiracy theorists just can't help themselves blaming the victim.

She was an insurrectionist. Most of the people attacking The Capitol that day have been put in jail for it. Her death, while tragic, was justified and the officer who shot her was cleared of any wrongdoing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Ashli_Babbitt

"U.S. Representative Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), a witness to Babbitt's attempted breach, said that Lieutenant Byrd "didn't have a choice" but to shoot, and that his action "saved people's lives".[50][67]

The shooting was recorded on several cameras, and footage was widely circulated.[68] John Earle Sullivan, among those who recorded footage of the shooting, was arrested for his role in the attack.[69] Zachary Alam was also arrested for his role in the attack.[70][71]

Following the routine process for shootings by Capitol Police officers, the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia and the United States Department of Justice investigated Babbitt's death and made a determination that the shooting was "lawful and within Department policy".[12][72][73] Upon clearing Byrd, USCP released a press statement saying his action "potentially saved Members and staff from serious injury and possible death".[13]"

No, she wasn't. She was given no warning, and the officer that shot her did so in direct violation of federal use of force guidelines.

Do you know how utterly stupid that stuff sounds. Babbitt was unarmed. Shooting her saved no one's life. That's simply bullshit. It did cost Babbitt her life however.

Lawful? Byrd left the scene of the shooting immediately after he fired. He made no attempt to stop Babbitt using less than lethal force. The findings of the two police departments are bullshit too. They covered up an illegal shooting. His shooting her, an unarmed woman, saved no one from anything.

Doesn't sound stupid at all. Byrd was cleared by two jurisdictions. Even a Republican congressman supported what Byrd did. I understand you don't like the findings of the Metro Police and the Justice Department. You keep claiming Byrd acted in violation of Federal guidelines. Why don't you post those specific guidelines you're talking about? You can either do that or admit you don't know what you're talking about.
