The GOP divide on the issue of LGBT rights turned into a public spectacle on the House floor last month when Republican members were split on an amendment introduced by openly gay Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.). His proposal would have banned the federal government from making payments to contractors that discriminate on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.
A bullshit bill that should be stopped ....contractors that discriminate on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation is already against the law and those breaking
the law should be dealt with in the courts on a case by case basis........
