From where I stand I have a LOT more HOPE than a year ago.

The economy has stepped back from the cliff of a great Depression and there is clear hope that a recovery has begun.

We have a clear and direct plan to get out of Iraq and complete the mission in Afganistan.

The hatrid of America on the world stage has turned so much that the American President won the Nobel Peace Prize.

We are on the verge of a great step forward in obtaining cheaper and homre effective Health Care for all Americans.

If all of this was accomplished in President Obama's first year, imagine what will be accomplished in the three years left on this term, and the likely four years after!

HOPE has started to gain momentum!
 
I cant wait for the campaign slogan, "are you better off now than you were four years ago?"
 
I'm better off cause the market is higher.
Only morons thought a depression was coming, Obama sold that effectively.

The man won a Nobel Peace Prize based on what he plans to do. I can think of nothing more bogus.

That is your biased opinion....... The President has changed the forign policy from an in your face agressive at all costs to one of cooperation and mutual assistance.... Id call that an important accomplishment.

Yes, Obama made some changes in the US Foriegn Policy. But the Nobel Peace Prize??

He was in office for less than two weeks when the deadline for the committee voting arrived. Are you telling me that you believe he received the award for something he actually did in 12 days??

1) FALSE, he was in office less than two weeks when the deadline for nominations arrived, not votes.

2) President Obama had at that point been the leader of a movement that changed America and unseat a regime that had started an unnecessary war under false pretenses.

My mistake, and you are correct. But to have him be nominated is still inasnity. He was elected to office. Thats pretty much the extent of what he had done by the time he was nominated.

Lets look at #2, shall we?

You make it sound as though he were the leader of some revolution. He was elected president. Now that is no mean feat, but it has happened every 4 years since we started this nation.

And sometimes that election is akin to a peacefull revolution, this last election was one of those times.

Sense when do Republicans put any faith in Polls? Remember how they attacked President Clinton for governing based on polls.... Now they are attacking President Obama is pushing a movement not supported by the polls.

Since when do you liberals NOT put any faith in the polls..that is all we heard during the Bush administration...I guess the polls are no good now that it is THE ONE..sheesh

I know that Bush was an idiot and that our nation suffered under his administration.

But do you actually believe that Obama's getting elected president makes him worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize?
