Honest question for the board........

Alexander Dugin says that this current massive degeneracy of the West in the inevitable destination of liberalism. I am not sold on this but there is certainly something to the claim......people in the West have long been more interested in cheating to get ahead personally rather than being good people doing good work....why this happened is very important to learn.

The Chinese and the Russians are not like this.

The Imperialist Philosopher Who Demanded the Ukraine War

For decades, Alexander Dugin argued that Russia had a messianic mission, and that destroying an independent Ukraine was necessary to fulfilling it.

Humans have the capacity for both good and evil.....a part of this is certainly the current nihilism....so many dont have any interest in putting in the hard work of building because they dont think humanity has any future....and that they are disconnected from the collective.......might as well have fun.

I talk like that a lot but my Party Mode does not come from nihilism, it comes from retirement, after a lifetime of good effort.

And even in retirement I am here trying to help.

It goes something like this:

The filthy rich and powerful think they're largely above the law. Epstein gave them a hedonistic lifestyle where they could play out their fantasies and such, at least regarding to sexual and intimate relationships. There's nothing new about this. In Epstein's case he could provide such a playground for the truly rich and powerful.

Both Epstein and those he catered to never thought for a millisecond that any of this was really a problem or would ever be publicly exposed. Epstein wisely fell on a proverbial sword once it was exposed. Some of his minions and underlings--who aren't rich and powerful--went to prison. The filthy rich and powerful are now just riding the storm out, so to speak.

Sure, there's the scandal and it's totally lascivious. But the filthy rich and powerful don't give a shit beyond their surviving intact, riding it out. And this will happen at some point.

It is pure fantasy that anyone really rich and powerful will end up getting anything punitive out of this. That's why the whole exercise is meaningless. This sort of shit has gone on since the Pharaohs ruled Egypt and the outcome is always the same. Unless the rich and powerful are willing to police their own, nothing will happen and you are wasting your time wishing ill on someone who is rich and powerful that is caught up in this.

Listen to what
@BretWeinstein
is saying here. It’s one of the most gut-punch breakdowns I’ve heard about why the people inside these broken institutions can look at devastating evidence of harm to children… and still choose silence.He calls himself a “de facto atheist,” and yet he sees something most people refuse to admit:When you don’t believe in anything bigger than yourself, it becomes far too easy to make peace with evil.How do you ignore when studies show severe harm to kids? How do you watch the vaccine program keep rolling when the data screams danger?You tell yourself the same lie they all tell themselves:“It won’t make a difference anyway.”“The system is too corrupt.”“If I speak up, I’ll be destroyed.”“No one’s going to listen. The government won’t act. Institutions are untouchable.”That’s the utilitarian calculus they run: “The greater good is keeping the machine running, even if it crushes a generation of children.” And once you accept that logic, you can justify literally anything...slavery, genocide, medical experiments on kids. History proves it.Here’s the part that hits hardest:Faith in a higher power is not gameable.You can lie to yourself. You can lie to your colleagues. You can lie to the public. But you cannot lie to God. You cannot convince an all-knowing Judge that “it wouldn’t have mattered anyway” or “I had to protect my career.”That internal moral compass - knowing someone is listening to your thoughts - keeps you from crossing lines that pure utilitarianism happily sprints across.Brett nails it: Science displaced faith in the modern world, but we never replaced what faith actually did, especially when it comes to the heavy moral lifting...This is why the cover-up continues. Because too many of them have no fear of anything higher than a paycheck, a title, or peer approval.We are in a spiritual crisis masquerading as a scientific one.Watch Brett lay this out below —it’s raw, it’s real, and it explains exactly why we can’t wait for the system to fix itself.Share this far and wide. Our kids deserve adults who still believe some things are more important than self-preservation.
