Honduran woman, 19, in migrant caravan scales border wall to give birth in US

The "asylum seekers" are a distraction. Most people aren't stupid and they know they can get in here legally with a $160 guest visa and a bus ticket to TJ.
are we going to do this again?
there were about 51k arrests t the border for illegal immigration last month. It;s uncheck mass migration

Yes we're going to do this again. People who cross with a visa aren't arrested at the border. The wall is a bad idea.

VISA can be controlled. people are IDentified. if you have no problem with disease carriers,at least some gang members and nobody knows anything about them...OK fine...there really isn't much I can say

That is patently false and you know it, unless you're just showing your ignorance.

No, you are just patently ignorant as usual:

The best estimates come from research by the Institute of Taxation and Economic Policy, a Washington, DC, think tank, which suggests that about half of undocumented workers in the United States file income tax returns. The most recent IRS data, from 2015, shows that the agency received 4.4 million income tax returns from workers who don’t have Social Security numbers, which includes a large number of undocumented immigrants. That year, they paid $23.6 billion in income taxes.

Those undocumented workers paid taxes for benefits they can’t even use, like Social Security and Medicare. They also aren’t eligible for benefits like the earned income tax credit. But the IRS still expects unauthorized immigrants to file their taxes, and many of them do so.

Filing taxes helps immigrants create a paper trail to show when they entered the country and how long they’ve been contributing tax dollars. Many are hoping it will help them get legal status one day. That has happened in past reform efforts, and one of the first requirements is usually to prove that a person has been paying taxes. That was the case for the undocumented youth granted temporary work permits under President Obama’s deportation relief program, known as DACA.

You said "illegals put more into the system than they take out." Then you gave a report describing what they put in, but not what they take out. But I'm the ignorant one, huh?

Really? A dude crosses at TJ and we know where he is three weeks later?

Instead of being a jerk why don’t you explain yourself. The 2/3 you refer to are here on visas.
There is a big difference between illegals sneaking across the border and those on record coming into the country on visas.
You are such an asshole.

I always wonder what these weirdoes believe the original 'white' people did when they first came and stole land over there! God ask 'em in, did He?

What was stolen? I have all the paperwork (titles, deeds, etc.) to everything I own. Can you provide the same things for the land you say was stolen?

When those visas expire, the status of those sneaking in and those overstaying is illegal.

You say some stupid s*** on these forums but this comment is one of your stupidest. 50000 arrests does not make it unchecked.

It seems like border security is working if 50,000 were arrested before they made it into the USA, or am I confused?

how many does it take to make it unchecked? those are just arrests.

assuming 50% are arrested (probably high) that's 100k crossings a month. over 1 million a year (1.2)
that's pretty damned "unchecked" no?

how many of them ask for asylum? do you have any idea how many are being held pending a hearing?
They used to be catch and arrests
That's pretty much uncheck mass migration

In Mr Trump's first year in office in 2017, arrests of migrants illegally crossing the US-Mexico border were down at 303,916, compared with 408,870 in President Barack Obama's last year. While illegal crossings cannot be accurately counted, border arrests are used as a measure of illegal border crossings.
There were also about 3,027 illegal apprehensions from along the Canadian border and 3,588 from the coastal border.
These numbers include asylum seekers (a person who applies for refugee status at a US port of entry or from within the country). The most recent report, 2016, shows a total of 115,399 applied and 20,455 individuals were granted asylum to stay in the United States.
However, since February 2018, the number of migrants crossing the border illegally was up, with arrests last month more than double those in May 2017.
