If someone is earning only crumbs, it's their fault. Stop blaming responsible people for the failures of the irresponsible. In other words, stop striving to be average and you may end up like those of us that strived for excellence.

Awww, you tried to make it about something personal. Isn't that cute! My ancestors came here legally and some things are different than they were long ago. Imagine that!

Edit: Also noteworthy, when my ancestors came, there was virtually no welfare, and taking it was a source of great shame. I am quite certain they received no government handouts.
