This comes after Tina Peters launched her official recount investigation of the Colorado Secretary of State Republican primary.

Tina Peters, a Gold Star mom, was leading in all the polls in the state for Secretary of State by nearly 20 points.

But then, Peters was upset by a candidate who worked with Mark Zuckerberg’s Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) and who outperformed by 35 points on election day.

This was a virtual impossibility.

Popular conservative and MAGA candidate Peters was leading in the polls and had a 15 point lead on her closest competitor Pam Anderson.

We have been over this before. Peters is not a Gold Star Mother. I know these are only words to you, but these lies belittle real Gold Star Mothers, their sacrifice, our country, and quite honestly Peters' son's service, and her own loss. It would be much better if she just told the truth about something of such importance.

She never made it to the Secretary of State race, and every poll said if she did, she would lose badly. She was in the race for the nomination. Primaries are tough to predict, because who actually shows up to vote is impossible to predict. It appears in this case, Republicans saw Peters was a loser, and got out the vote.

Facts are facts. Remington Peters, yes, she named her son Remington, died in a parachute accident in New Jersey. There were no enemy troops in the area, just a Fourth of July celebration. In general, Al Qaeda does not celebrate the Fourth of July.

There is a Gold Star Mother Registry. My grandmother is on it. Peters is not.

Peters lies belittles her own loss.
