Psychotic Biker Tries To Run Over Peaceful TrumpCare Protesters
A motorcyclist headed right into a crowd of senior citizens and healthcare activists in San Francisco that were in the midst of a planned “die-in” to protest the new Republican healthcare/tax cut bill. The Senate bill rips people in nursing homes right out of their beds to give the top one percenters a huge tax break. Why would the motorcycle rider do such a thing?
Senate Majority Leader Republican Mitch McConnell’s bill was drafted in secret, behind closed doors. He not only refused to let women senators participate, he also locked out all Republican Senate women from even entering the room. The bill would kill the healthcare for all women who used Planned Parenthood for their primary care, including for prenatal care and deliveries.
SF Gate reported one person tweeted about the motorcycle incident:
‘Alt right bastard rides motorcycle thru #Trumpcare protest at 7th & Mission, laughing, arrested as takes his time off bike.’
The so-called healthcare bill was really a tax bill for the richest people in America. It killed Medicaid and handed the money to the top one percenters. It abandoned pre-existing conditions, which included pregnancy in this Republican Senate men’s interpretation.
The motorcyclist narrowly missed some of the protesters, and a photographer caught it in this tweet:
‘SFPD detain a man who tried to hit healthcare activists with his motorcycle who were blocking 7th street in SF.’
Witnesses said that the man was trying to hit the protesters. Evidence in the form of photographs and videos taken at the time seemed to line up with that version. The man was driving a red motorcycle and approached the group of protesters without a moments hesitation. This is what people saw:
‘We are live at the SF Federal Building to protect our healthcare and oppose Trumpcare. ‘
Some of the activists held posters designed to look like tombstones to protest the Republican healthcare/taxcut bill. They planned to block the intersection for only 10 minutes, according to SFGate. Police detained the motorcyclist.
