What the hive programs the drones to ignore is "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" which means owing allegiance to this nation and no other.

What is amusing is the same leftists who now stomp their feet and wail that Anchor Babies (rather than birthright citizenship) are a civil right used this same clause to argue that dual citizenship by Jews to Israel was illegal. But consistency and rationality are not present among the Stalinists.

Ark dealt with a child of two Chinese immigrants who were legally present and sponsored by the Union Pacific Railroad in accordance to immigration law at the time. It does NOT deal with illegal aliens dropping a baby being granted automatic citizenship.

This amendment’s language was derived from the 1866 Civil Rights Act, which provided that “[a]ll persons born in the United States, and not subject to any foreign power” would be considered citizens.
