Historic Glass Cielings Broken!

You elected the orange narcissist, not me. Now you have to live with your decision.

It must be painful to have no rebuttals to all the lying trump did and is still doing daily. That's the reason you guys always default to "But HILLARY...!"

When, Senate Majority leader, Harry Reid, addressing the United States congress, proudly and unapologetically, created and told the lie about Mitt's taxes, .... he really lowered the bar .

#20, Q.E.D. Default to a Democrat instead of honestly addressing the lies of trump.

And that is rich about Harry and Mitt's taxes. How about trump not paying federal taxes for decades? How about trump refusing to release his tax returns?

You guys never hold your candidate to the same standards you impose on others.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz was the first woman major party Chair to resign for election tampering during a presidential campaign !!

Donna Brazile is the first woman to ever be fired by CNN for gross misconduct and negligent criminal activity!!

Congratulations!

in another glass cieling broken

Hillary is the first person man or woman who had the most electors decide she is unfit for office and vote for someone else (5) :)

Gotta admit, the Dems did set some records this election that will stand for years....

None of them were about stuff that's really important, like Obama's lies.

I don't care about his taxes, ... and I will thank God everyday that he kept BJ and the Queen from retaking the White House for an unethical 3rd term.

I'll have to save this post. trump's lies don't count.

It's not like he lied about keeping your doctor, keeping your insurance, cost of ins. going down, it's a fee not a tax, or the red line in Syria. Sheeesh

Yup - lied over and over to get obamacare passed and the public knows it. The moron probably thought ACA would work out great and nobody would care how it got passed. HAHA. Obama is really dumb. He's never accomplished anything in his life and he thought he could overhaul our health care system.

Give me a number. I'm pretty sure that's historically inaccurate.

5 of her electors would not vote for her, 3 voted for Colon Powell(a Republican), 1 for the Bald Eagle or something), the other ?

3 others would not vote for her, 2 were replaced and 1 changed his mind.

Thats 7 that would not for her and 1 forced to change his vote.....8 to be accurate....

If thats not record,

Can you show us can you show us its not ?

1896 election: The Democratic Party and the People's Party both ran William Jennings Bryan as their presidential candidate, but ran different candidates for Vice President. The Democratic Party nominated Arthur Sewall and the People’s Party nominated Thomas E. Watson. Although the Populist ticket did not win the popular vote in any state, 27 Democratic electors for Bryan cast their vice-presidential vote for Watson instead of Sewall.[SUP][22]

[/SUP]631872 election: Horace Greeley was alive during the November election but died before the electoral vote. 63 out of 66 electors refused to vote for a deceased candidate, and out of those 43 cast their presidential votes for four non-candidates and 17 abstained. Greeley received three posthumous electoral votes, but these votes were disallowed by Congress.[SUP][24]

231836 election: The 23 electors from Virginia were pledged to vote for Democratic candidates Martin Van Buren (for President) and Richard M. Johnson (for Vice President). However, they abstained from voting for Johnson, because of his open (and therefore scandalous) liaison with a slave mistress.

1832 election: Two National Republican Party electors from the state of Maryland refused to vote for presidential candidate Henry Clay and did not cast a vote for him or for his running mate, John Sergeant. All 30 electors from Pennsylvania refused to support the Democratic vice presidential candidate Martin Van Buren, voting instead for William Wilkins.

191796 election: Samuel Miles, an elector from Pennsylvania, was pledged to vote for Federalist presidential candidate John Adams, but voted for Democratic-Republican candidate Thomas Jefferson. He cast his other presidential vote as pledged for Thomas Pinckney. An additional 18 electors voted for Adams as pledged, but refused to vote for Pinckney.[SUP][25][/SUP] This was an attempt to foil Alexander Hamilton's rumored plan to elect Pinckney as President, and this resulted in the unintended result that Adams's opponent, Jefferson was elected Vice President instead of Adams's running mate Pinckney. This was the only time that the president and vice president have been from different parties. After the 1800 election again resulted in confusion, the 12th Amendment was ratified in 1804. It changed the election procedure so that instead of casting two votes of the same type, electors would now make an explicit choice for president and vice president.

Conway only headed about 1/4 of the campaign, she started in mid-August after the former head's ties to Russia were brought into question.
