While he's an idiot, there is a video for this event and it's pretty clear the lady cop murdered the guy. His hands were raised, he posed no threat and made no sudden movements. It's reasonable to comment on what we can all see. Trump may be a dick, but he's not wrong here.

What retarded logic. The police are trained (poorly, it seems) to identify threats, not imagine threats. They need to verify if a threat is actually real. Good to know you support the murder of innocent people cooperating with the police.

Odd coincidence: just an hour or so ago I was told by a cop to 'step the hell away from the vehicle [his cruiser]'. There were several cop cars in front of the hospital due some sort of drama going on. The guy's cruiser was parked right in the way of where I was going to enter the building in a side entrance.

I turned and looked at him and just shrugged lol. But it was pretty inappropriate imo. He was young, there was a crowd and he was probably showing off. And I venture to say poorly trained. I can see how things could escalate with some of them.

Nothing. I am commending, rather than condemning Douchebag Donald for this one. I was appalled by the Minnesota shooting, which was very similar to this one. He could have spoken out then, although the effect would have been blunted by the subsequent Dallas attack.

The Dallas attack was an assassination. When cops shoot inappropriately I doubt they're trying to assassinate anyone. I think most of them get too hyped up on adrenaline. Not that that's an excuse, but it's not the same thing.

The details of the Minnesota case read like an assassination. Cop walked-up to the car, asked for the guys' paperwork, and then shot him when he was reaching for it.
