Because violence is bad no matter who is advocating it. I am happy to single out the piece of shit individuals who resort to violence, but I'm not ready to institute the thought police and charge everyone at the march with murder because they hold some of the same beliefs as the murderer, any more than I think the few dipshits throwing urine and feces on anyone they thought were in the march are actually going to change hearts and minds, or charge every person in the counter demonstration with thrown shit.
We already see the people calling out groups specifically sliding down the slope to anti-First-Amendment rhetoric. Anti First Amendment rhetoric is more dangerous than the non-violent racist dipshits making asses of themselves while not driving over people with their cars.
