The Hillary Movie

No Amy Poehler? NBC Entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt announced on Saturday that the network will be planning a movie about Hillary Clinton, to be aired prior to the 2016 election and starring Diane Lane. The movie is still in the early stages: there is no completed script yet, let alone an actor cast to play Bill Clinton. Hillary will follow the former Secretary of State from the first days after the Lewinsky scandal in 1998 until the present day. The script will be written by Frozen River writer Courtney Hunt.

what an absolute joke. how many candidates get a movie about them in an election year. this is ridiculous.
 
how about you wake up to the fact that this is unabashed propaganda? why 2016? why not 2015 or 2017?

she got some dumb reality show but not when she was running.

this is basically an extended media campaign for the promoition of hilary, and it's done by our national media. How is it any different than NBC just blatantly making positive commercials for her? That would be against campaign rules.

i actually value our constitution and electoral process and the ethics that go along with it. i guess you are fine with whatever so long as your side wins.

Unless we get laws that enforce what ads can be shown re candidates, this is what we end up with. Freedom of speech. They can do what they want.

You wouldn't be complaining if a conservative was having it done for them.

Don't blame me. Blame CU. after all, it's whole existence is tanks to a Hillary snuff piece aired right before the 2008 electin. It's nobody's fault but the special interests who didn't have the smarts to realize their dear Cotizens United might bite their ass.
 
Did anyone watch that show where Sigourney Weaver plays a fictional Hillary characterization? I only caught the first two episodes. She and Bill were called the Hammonds. The actor playing Bill was hilariously sleazy.
