Love the last line here... :D

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.
- Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton attacked Donald Trump's proposals on firearms Saturday as dangerous for America's children, just one day after the GOP's presumptive presidential nominee garnered the endorsement of the National Rifle Association.

"Donald Trump said that in his very first hour as president, heaven forbid, he would overturn President [Barack] Obama's actions to strengthen background checks," Clinton said, speaking at the Trayvon Martin Foundation's "Circle of Mothers" dinner in Fort Lauderdale. "Then, Mr. Trump went further. He said that also on his first day in office he'd mandate that every school in America allow guns in classrooms. Every school, he said. That idea isn't just way out there, it's dangerous."

Clinton said that schools "should have the right to keep guns out of classrooms, just like Donald Trump does at many of his hotels."

Oh-my-GIF.gif

Not to mention the GOP convention...:rofl2:

A spin should be coming before too long. Wait for it.

"Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s posh Florida club, doesn’t allow guns, a hotel staff member told ABC News.

Trump National Doral, in Miami, Florida, doesn’t allow guns either, a security official told ABC News. The resort would “much rather not” have guns on the property, said a security official with the hotel, who noted that guns are “not to be carried on our property.”

“We’ve had guests that have brought them before,” he said, but those guns “had to remain in their safe the whole time in the room.”

A security worker at Trump National in Jupiter, Florida, said “no” when asked if guns were allowed on premises by citizens who are licensed to carry them. Asked about exceptions for people like off-duty cops, the staff member directed ABC News to a supervisor, who said the hotel had no comment at all on guns at the property. Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach County, Florida, also doesn’t allow citizens with concealed-carry licenses to bring their guns on the property, a golf-shop worker told ABC News.

The Republican National Convention will be a 2nd amendment-free zone.

The Trumpkins must be so proud.

I'm sure they will cry that the venue doesn't allow guns, Brother Leon.

How lame is that? Their Teflon Don Trump will renegotiate everything else, but he can't renegotiate a policy at an arena? :rofl2:

Maybe he is afraid of the "stop Trumpers" walking around the convention locked and loaded.

The funny thing is that everyday there are probably a dozen or more guns at those hotels that never go noticed by security or workers and don't harm anybody. I have a conceal carry license and typically keep a gun in my purse or bag, and I have a shotgun underneath the back seat of my truck right now. I never leave them at home when I go somewhere but I also don't walk around telling everybody that I have them. My point is that guns are around all of the time even if a sign says that there shouldn't be. Guns aren't the problem in my opinion.

Are you going to the Q to cheer Teflon Don Trump, the candidate preferred by a vast majority of America's Republicans, Nora Beth?

That what a lot of Republicans said, isn't it, Norah Beth?

yes a lot of republicans have unfortunately thrown their support to him. As it stands right now I don't have a party affiliation anymore as long as Trump is the republican standard bearer. I know that seems dramatic but I'll vote for whoever I think is the best person to vote for based on the beliefs and values that I agree with. I'm sure that will still mostly be republicans here but I won't be part of the party over principles movement.

Your principled stance does you credit, Norah Beth.
