The network was treating this like an episode of The Apprentice, in which [Donald] Trump stars and ratings soar. Lauer had turned what should have been a serious discussion into a pointless ambush. What a waste of time.”
Clinton even mentioned the urge she had to take matters into her own hands.
“I can’t say I didn’t fantasize about shaking some sense into Lauer while I was out there,” she admitted.
She accused Lauer of giving then-candidate Trump a “soft-pedal” interview.
“I was almost physically sick,” Clinton said.

Do you want a Trump success with tax reform? Or are you happy w/Trump failure no matter what.Very telling indeed that this thread isn't about the president and all the wonderful successes he and the Republican-controlled are piling up. :0)
In fact .. as I look around the board I don't see anything like that.
Wonder why?
Do you want a Trump success with tax reform? Or are you happy w/Trump failure no matter what.
52 Senators and John McCain being a Dead Man Walking #NeverTrump - coupled w/Dem mindless "resistance" =
...wait for it..a Trump Failure.
Lets see if Congress exhibits a pulse
Fair tax reform is the mantra of the left resistance -basically only middle class/ no corporate ,and no simplification.I don't have any faith that Trump can do anything .. including fair tax reform.
So the answer to your question is that I don't have to wish anything about Trump's failure. He's doing a stellar job of that all by himself.
"Never get in the way of an enemy while he's in the process of destroying himself"
Republicans are on the way to electoral failure.

it aint me saying it. Even the establishment say they need something to go into the midterms.Where, oh, where have I heard that before?![]()

This obstructionist agenda is of course- not subject to compromise.
Good call on the quote: Republicans are on the way to electoral failure.
I understand/respect that.I'm a socialist, so I agree with many of the thoughts of the resistance, especially on tax reform and spending. Socialism is an economic system. America is becoming more socialist .. which means 'people first.'
it aint me saying it. Even the establishment say they need something to go into the midterms.
It's quite possible this do nothing Congress will literally do that little
I understand/respect that.
Whatever system you prefer - this age of economic nationalism still depends on the nation's GDP.
A measure of productivity. We hit 3% on optimism
It's going to take winning and competing on an international scale to get there again
I would add giving more attention to trades/schools. We need to grow GDP to increase revenues.I don't disagree with that, but it's a question of priorities.
We can do infrastructure and rebuild cities without the international community.
We can refocus on education, education, education to ensure that American students can compete with the international community.
We can use expanding healthcare as a business model that explodes in new career opportunities and innovations.
We can make America great..er by not focusing not on race .. focus on America.
I would add giving more attention to trades/schools. We need to grow GDP to increase revenues.
