The never Trump electors are watching as Trump starts selecting white supremacists for his administration and war mongers for his cabinet...
It will make their choice of conscience much easier...

And small states are virtually irrelevant under the electoral college, it massively rewards large bloc votes like Ohio, while New Hampshire is virtually irrelevant even though it's more of a swing state. Fact is that the founders never expected the electoral college to cast a vote by rote anyway.

It makes me grin every day when I think about how desperate people are. First it was going to be the delegates that would vote differently than the primaries came out, then there was the belief that he could never win, and now it is the Electors who support him that are going to magically overturn the election. But the reality is Trump will be the 45th President of the United States of America.

There is a very real chance that the mechanism in the constitution to prevent unqualified candidates from being elected will keep Trump out of office...
Unusual things happen when you try to elect the most unusual candidate ever...

First of all Trump is qualified, secondly even if that were true, who would become President? Hillary isn't qualified, should have never been allowed to run. She is under criminal investigation!

the will of the american people, no matter how emotional, can never be allowed to run afoul of the constitution. majority vote, no matter the margin, is irrelevant.

Age and Citizenship requirements - US Constitution, Article II, Section 1
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.
