I don't know. He's president and not a prosecutor. He would have to intervene if the DOJ concludes there's sufficient evidence to indict. Also, Trump may be referring to the email debacle and not the Clinton Foundation investigation.
There's probably too much being made of it. Or put it this way, if I was Hillary I'd still be worried.

The case is not over, it can not be, because new info is still coming in to the FBI and FBI agents are hiding much at this point, waiting to give it to Trumps people.
The best thing is that if Obama pardons a traitor, he becomes one himself and Trump can arrest him easily

Honestly, I'd be a little relieved if Trump really intends to call off the dogs. The country is divided enough as it is without having to be dragged through the prosecution of a Clinton or Clinton's. I know I'm over it lol. I'm tired of talking about her.

The country will not become "less divided" by kowtowing to leftist talking points. All communications are demanded to be turned over to the people.....if the new DOJ....finds evidence that the WHITE WASH witnessed with the FBI investigation has direct ties to the WHITE HOUSE.....heads might be rolling for a couple of years to come. If Barry Obama pushes the panic button and attempts to pardon Clinton as a lame duck....the obvious implications of this act would be very telling. And...the 800lb Gorilla in the room continues to be ignored.....the upcoming DOJ investigation into the IRS manipulation of the 2012 election cycle. You think its over? Its just getting started.

Lots of people voted for Trump for lots of different reasons.
I voted for him, primarily, because of jobs and the economy. I'm down with going after Hillary only to the extent it doesn't get in the way of the reasons 'I' voted for him. If Trump thinks not going after Hillary would be a bargaining chip with democrats in congress, I'm ok with it.
To your point about zero tolerance: that message was already been sent.

I'm going to wait and see what happens before I get outraged over it. He's technically not even president yet so I think a lot of the uproar is a tad premature.

He isn't the ultimate decider of whether it is over. It is up to the Attorney General. Now I don't presume to know what Jeff Sessions will do once confirmed. Do you? The AG is an independent position.
In fact and I am merely speculating this could be a brilliant ploy on Trumps part.
