Hey Cawacko 2.0

It's a sh*t show. Politicians obviously come here all the time and the City has held major conferences/events before but have never seen this much of the City blocked off/shut down. Combine that with all the protests and it almost feels like COVID lock downs to a degree with the number of people deciding to stay home (or being told to stay home because their job is in the blocked off area). And this isn't just a one day thing but almost a week long.

I have family that lives next to where Biden and others are staying. To get to their place it's like a 20 minute process of having to get out of your car and having police dogs sniff throughout your car etc. (That's always the case when the President or VP is here, which is quite often. You need safety but it's a pain in the *ss.)

The City of course cleared out the homeless and rift raff from where the event is taking place but a Czech news crew got robbed at gun point while filming a segment on the City so that made headlines.

On one hand an event like this brings a lot of attention to the City and of course outside visitors bring money. But so many restaurants and other businesses have had to shut down because they are in the blocked off area near the event it's had a big negative effect as well.

 my dad was a mechanic. He bought two duplexes that were built for temporary housing during WWII for the ship building industry. After WWII the duplexes were sold as long as they were removed from the property. My dad bought two deconstructed them then built our home himself with the materials. I worked my way through college and medical school. I do live in a very nice neighborhood now but its not a gated community. You are a moron.

Arsecheese is a moron on steroids.

Probably because it ain’t the sodom and gomorrah Murdoch portrays it as, and no, I don’t want to exchange on American cities with a MAGA militia cultist who more than likely has lived in a gated village his whole life and watches Fox religiously

As I've already said, moron on steroids.
