Can't help thinking that Trump is playing a game pretending to be right wing to secure the nomination.
- Clinton says she's surprised at how Trump has trafficked in 'prejudice and paranoia' since she once knew him in high society circles
- Insists the 'security inquiry' – her euphemism for an FBI investigation into her email server – will clear her
- Continued to deflect concerns about her integrity by saying Americans may fear merely that she's in the race as an ego-stroke
- But insisted she's a public servant, not a power-climber

But she also said she now expects Trump to be the White House candidate for the Republican party - reflecting his poll dominance and the belief that he will sweep Super Tuesday next week. 'Some of the comments that he's made, which have been so divisive and mean-spirited, doesn't [sic] quite fit with what I thought I knew about him,' the former secretary of state said. 'So, I think it's going to be interesting to see what – if he does get the nomination – he decides to do with it, how he presents himself. But he has really been offensive and in many respects surprising to those of us who did know him.'
Friends: Donald Trump - who was the focus of the GOP debate last night - and the Clintons knew each other in society circles to the extent that she and Bill went to his third wedding
