He's Not Like Us?!!

The title, 'He's not like us', leaves the door wide open to the myriad descriptions of why he's a poor choice to represent us. One would think, anyway.

Even the GOP tried just about every other candidate before settling for Romney, that in itself ought to tell all you need to know.

I certainly didn't have any problem understanding that from the get go!!!!!! Maybe there is something more sinister going on here, eh?

First off, his religious beliefs are NOBODY'S business and should NEVER bar him from office. Second, yes, they will vote for him because they detest Obama like the left detested Bush. The truth is there is so little difference between the two that it does not matter. Conservatives have shut off their dogmatic brain center and would vote for ANY candidate that had an R behind his name. If they had a conservative bone in their bodies they would vote for Johnson.

I agree that his religious beliefs shouldn't bar him from office. However, religious beliefs or the absence of them do influence opinions. Look thee to the sentiments of those who question Obama's religion and the fact that no atheist has ever been a serious contender for the office of the president.

Is it too late? Perhaps they will. I would hope so, anyway.

His actions and subsequent dishonesty about his tenure at Bain Capital as it's sole stock holder, CEO and Chairman of the board alone disqualify him. Nothing to do with his ill gotten wealth. His sociopathic remarks and attitudes further exacerbate his lack of qualifications to lead an otherwise sane nation. Nothing to do with his cult of religion. The thousands of unanswered questions concerning his offshore banking habits and tax evasion practices also disqualify him. What more are you looking for?

He also lied to the SEC, which is a criminal offence.

Please accept my most sincere apologies. You cats change screen names like your underwear and I get confused sometimes.

You sure they change their underwear that often? ;) I dunno....but you are right...I have to really check to see which one it is.

But if I based my choices on "he's not like [me]..." based on a guy's personal wealth and religion, then that would disqualify every president we've ever had....for me. Every one of them has been much wealthier than me and certainly not one of them has matched up with me religiously. As much as I hate to say it, I can somewhat see banhammer's point there.

It's not based on the wealth or the religion. It's based on how the wealth and religion affects him.

Further - and I've already said this - it's the sociopathy that renders him unfit, not the wealth or the religion.

No. Obama's net worth has only very recently become higher than yours. Mitt's has been 2000 to 4000 times as high as yours for a very long time, AND he is exponetially wealtier than any other candidate to date. Who cares about his religious convictions?

I do. He is a very dangerous cultist, no doubt about it. The further he stays from the government the better we'll all be for it.

He also hasn't released his College transcripts, or his application for his College grants, and he didn't respond to the request for his Birth certificate for over 3 years.
OH-WAIT; that was NEObama.
