Here's a list of all the Socialist programs and infrastructure you should give up...

Socialism is government ownership of the means of production. Period, end of story.

Exactly. Socialism is not government social programs. Medicare and Medicaid, for example, are run by the private medical industry (doctors, hospitals, medical supply and equipment manufacturers) Socialism is nationalized industries such as oil and gas, banks, shipbuilding, mining, electricity.....

Denmark keeps telling Bernie it is not socialist.

Sorry Bernie Bros But Nordic Countries Are Not Socialist

"As the American left embraces a platform that continues to look more and more like a socialist’s dream, it is common for those on the right to counter with the example of Venezuela as the nightmare of socialism in reality. A common response from the left is that socialism (or democratic socialism) works just fine in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. It is certainly true that Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark are notable economic successes. What is false is that these countries are particularly socialist."

"The first three words in the Constitution are the most powerful: We the People. They declare that the Constitution derives its power not from a king or a Congress, but from the people themselves. This concept of popular sovereignty—power to the people—is the foundation upon which the entire Constitution depends."

I guess we should repeal the Second Amendment, eh?

The body of the Constitution explains how people exercise that power through their elected representatives. We are not a democracy, idiot.

Another gun hater, huh?

That is a tiny percentage of the program, and I have no problem lending a hand up for those who are truly unable to help themselves.

SS, as a retirement plan, should be privatized.

The problem is too many use it as a handout.

As for helping those that truly can't help themselves, that should also be a private thing.

SS was never meant to be a retirement plan. If it was one, and it's the only thing people got in retirement, claims that it's not enough to retire on wouldn't be made.

As far as the OP is concerned, when the freeloaders on food stamps, welfare, Medicaid, and other programs where those receiving aren't doing the paying, I'll stop using things to which I pay taxes to fund.

In most areas, at least where I live, property taxes fund things like the fire department. I feel safe in saying that the OP has no clue how fire departments in those areas were funded prior to property taxes doing so.

We pay for these services. Noting equivalent to Socialism. Nada.

The OP has a problem with people paying the taxes to fund such things using them yet has no problem with social welfare recipients that don't pay to fund what they get receiving as much as they can beg to get.

Now you cannot see sarcasm? Wow, what else do you have a problem with?

"Idiot". Indeed.
