HELP ME ON THIS ONE SOMEBODY PLEASE....

Wow. Minimum wage is actually half what anyone is paying.
I can't believe it's so low. The whole thing proves government sucks when it gets involved with things like that.
If it's not regulating predatory business, the government should probably fuck the hell off.

FACT: THE CURRENT WAGE MOST ARE BEING PAID IS $12-$14 AN HOUR. THIS COVERS FAST FOOD, MOST LOW WAGE HOSPITAL JOBS, MOST MANUFACTORING JOBS AND RETAIL.
You are low on that figure. Last time I noticed a billboard on a McDonalds a drive past which was well over a year ago they were starting people at 16.00 and hour for day shift and 18.00 for night shift. So by now it's probably even higher. The problem we have in this country is not enuff SKILLED labor. Hamburger jobs were never meant for adults for the most part honestly. They were meant for high school kids and people who are slow,..... as much as I hate to say it.

I think search engines are skewing what the minimum wage is.
A quick search said $7.25. I doubt anyone is paying that and getting away with it. The whole thing seems kind of a farce.

No, dumbfuck, wages have not doubled. You pulled that out of your ass, just like everything else.

People are starting to pay more due to the tariffs, but companies still haven’t used all their pre-tariffs inventory yet. When they do, you’ll see greater effects.

There is not more manufacturing in this country as a result of tariffs.

Farmers and ranchers have taken a hit. Supplies are getting more expensive and their buyers are going elsewhere. They may not be back if they see that their sources are not reliable.
Domestic products aren't subject to tariffs, Dumber.
Exports are not subject to US tariffs, Dumber.

It depends on where you go. ALL minimum wage laws are price controls, which never work. Price controls always cause shortages.

Federal minimum wage is $7.25.
AZ is $14.70.
FL is $13.00.
GA is $5.15.
MS has no minimum wage law. They have it figured out.
OR is $16.30.
The SDTC is increasing theirs to $20.00.
WA is $16.66.

These are just a few examples.

Yeah,...in some states it is like 7.25 or maybe 7.50,....All I know is where I live which is basically a lot of middle income America, literally NOBODY is paying that,....they would get laughed at. About the lowest paying job here is about 14.00 probably 15:00 and hour or more.

It begs the question: Wtf is the Federal government doing?!

Even they dont know. LOL. Its all about supply and demand,.........it governs everything. All the Govt needs to do is get the hell out of the way!
Yup.

Capitalism does not require government to work. Government has no role in capitalism, other than to help keep thieves contained.
Capitalism does is not 'managed'. It is self regulating through market forces and price discovery. That includes any employees hired by a company.

At the moment, not a whole lot.

ICE and some National Guard is still being funded through private donors, and the ballroom construction still continues, as it's through private donors. Local ATC is generally State funded, so ATC (tower) is still operating. Otherwise, airports revert to an uncontrolled airport (like most rural airports and smaller airports).

Airlines require enroute ATC since they fly above 18,000 ft. That's federally funded, and they are not getting paid. Some ATC operators are not showing up for work, but enroute ATC is still functioning, despite the shutdown. Therefore, airlines are all experiencing delays. The central ATC routing computer is still operational and staff is still maintaining it. The backup computer requires little maintenance.

I have to hand it to those ATC guys. Many are donating their time to keep the system functioning at all. Remember, they are in ATC because they love aviation.

Well, they need to realize that.
This may explain where I'm coming from:
:rofl2: People are not getting their work's worth for basic needs.
And yeah, this is not the original, it's an islander group that I like. They did this song, after all. :dunno:

The wages went up almost 100%, retard. Nobody should have to pay more for things than what they're worth, that includes labor.
As the wages went up, so did the cost of everything else. Fuel price lowering may help offset that some.
^This post will rile many commies. 😆
Hamburgers went from$4-$6 to $8-$11.
And then then they threw in some shrinkflation because fuck you, that's why. :rofl2:
Don't worry, you're not alone in that.
When I first got out of college I earned $5 an hour. But my fully loaded Trans Am cost me $ 4,500. So As wages go up so do the price of things. My ca s today cost more the my first brand new 3 2 2 home.

A little work could get ya some things in yesterday's America.
Now everybody's slavin'. That ain't right.
The old rules still apply for me, but barely.
1 week per month pays housing.
Next week's pay pays utilities and food.
Then you're free to use the next 2 as you see fit, try to be wise about it.
^This I was taught when I was a young apprentice.
I have sen this stuff shift into Americans getting hosed.

I got a good good question for everybody....WASN'T THE ARGUMENT FOR NOT RAISING THE MIN. WAGE WAS THAT CONSUMERS WOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THINGS, THAT WALL STREET WOULD HAVE TO PASS THE COSTS ON TO ALL OF US? UH, AREN'T WE NOW PAYING MORE FOR THE VERY SHIT THEY ALL WARNED US ABOUT NOW? AND STILL NO INCREASE IN WAGES? BUT ITS OKAY IF THE TARIFF'S COSTS ARE PASSED ON TO US, BUT NOT THE INCREASE IN WAGES WE ALL NEED??HELP ME ON THIS ONE SOMEBODY? View attachment 63815
So, here's the difference:

When the minimum wage is raised, it provides people with more buying power. So even if prices need to be raised to compensate somewhat they don't have to be raised as much because their volume of sales increases.

Tariffs are taxes paid by the consumer that provides zero benefit to either the consumer or the seller.

You trumptards should know this shit. Just one of the reasons you voted for the worst disaster for our country in history.
