Perhaps the most disgusting thing ever to be posted on Facebook and, despite complaints, Facebook refused to take it down. (by the time you read this they might have done the proper thing and consigned it to its own hole in the ground.)

I sympathize with the victim. Just like I sympathize with abortion victims. Of course, those unborn are stuck in a different kind of hell hole, aren't they?
 
Well, I guess eventually...they will have to take political power though. I don't know. I really don't know what to say about this. I stay out of these conversations because I am conflicted.
 
I mean when you think about it, how are women going to take political power there, when we are not even close to being proportionately represented here? Nor has any woman ever been President here? Isn't this just a pipe dream?

Did you see America? over 150 years between the advent of feminism and woman's rights.

Second, yup, the religions is the prime culture, and it clearly views women as inferior.

No, that is the problem, they don't. Most lack books, TV, Internet. When you are raised this way, you don't know the difference. My Muslim friends tell me women don't better. Educating men is vital, too, but educating women changes cultures!

I believe it is a step, but brings no guarantees, the West is supposedly more advanced and women still fight for equality.

I just know I have seen Muslim and recently talked to a group of North African women and their coming to America has greatly changed their lives, and their home lives.

It's a very sad troubled religion, stuck way in the past. Religions at their core are violent and totalitarian, islam is no exception.

Christianity is one exception. I don't know much about Buddhism but that may qualify also.
