while i totally agree that this is will almost certainly be ruled illegal if it ever gets adjudicated i cannot see how "this is about to explode" when Trump's DoJ and his compliant Congress will do little to nothing about it.
I do not think we should confuse the growing bipartisan belief in Congress, that this is not legal, to the magats in the House and the Senate actually being willing to act on it.
I think, at best, post midterms, the Dems should control enough levers of power to do 'hearings on this', and then send in 'referrals to the DoJ' which will go no where.
