Thanks, McCain!!!

The one good thing about this is that the RINOS are now exposed. McCuntell is responsible for this. This is not a loss for Trump. It is a failure of Congressional Republians to do their job.

They are the Party of Fail

We have an interesting issue in Washington. I commented that the shooting of a delusional Republican congressman was a good thing, as it would cause others to stand up and take stock of the consequences of their actions. I felt that all in Washington...Dems and Reps. would take their jobs more seriously if they feared for their lives.

McCain, staring certain near future death in the face, seems to take his job a little more seriously now. This was no doubt a legacy vote. He's aware that every action he now takes, will be one of his last.

Shame that this is what it takes to get our paid representatives to do their jobs.

No "Skinny repeal".

No anything.

Just a big bunch of NOTHING.

Like Trump himself.

McCain probably didn't have a lot of time left tumor or not.

He's 80 years old.

Let's all pray that whoever his replacement ends up being, is a reasonable moderate voice like he is.

Well sure. But even at that age, you don't think you'll be gone in less than a year. Once you get a deadline, you have to accomplish as much as you can in the short time you have.

I'm sure McCain sees things much differently now. He certainly doesn't have to pander to anyone for future votes.

They refused to yield the floor to the parliamentarian, who was going to point out that the defunding of planned Parenthood wasn't reconciliation compliant. Nuclear option in all but name.

Who needs the nuclear option if you just declare anything you want to be reconciliation compliant.
