yeah but you are always talking specifically about drones. I made a thread about this. I don't get it. Yes I understand being against all war, but people focus all their attention on just one method of killing, which I find to be irrational.

The only reason I've talked specifically about drones is to counter the right-wing hacks who keep whining that liberals support drones because of Obama. You guys want to talk about other weapons and means of warfare, have at it and I'll be against them, too.

That's right. They will continue to use drones, fine tune them, work out the bugs, then robots and when the home grown terrorists (threepers, creepers, whatever.) head to their bunker and start shooting they'll be shooting at machines. Then we'll hear the whining. "We want machines, too!" WAAAAAAAAAA
 
liberals are quiet on the drone front because they damn sure want them used here on our own soil so they can root out domestic terrorists, aka right wingers with stockpiles of weapons.

It's completely irrational to be "against" drones as if they are inherently evil. The only complaint I've heard about them is they kill people... well no shit we are fighting wars... if drones wouldn't do it it would have been an ICBM or traditional aircraft.

Nope, we pretty much focus on it all, even the sales of all these things to our "allies".

I guess I should start posting more threads.

That's fine, but they're not a one size fits all solution that people try to use them as. It's like any other job ever. Yes, you CAN use a engineers hamemr to hang dry wall, but it's not a good idea and won't work as well as another hammer.
