Head to head debate

Liberals did not cause the health care crisis; corporations, corporate farms, insurance cartels, hospitals, doctors and greed are the root causes. America is being fed pig slop from the corporate trough that has created a population suffering from malnourished obesity. Doctors and hospitals have become profit centers where over-utilization is the goal.

Government caused it. Period.

UOTE=Bfgrn;771148]Yurt, what I have posted compared to you would be War & Peace and the 26 volumes of the Warren Report vs. your blank piece of paper.

yet you can't link to it....last i saw all you gave was a link, not your own debate, rather you used someone else to debate for you.

I already said that I don't know if it is constitutional. Anyone who says they know for sure is a liar. I speculate based on previous cases, Justices Scalia and Roberts may disappoint all the folks on the right who are now staunch advocates for personal irresponsibility...health care welfare queens.

meadowmuffins. you can have an OPINION on something. just because we have a scotus doesn't mean you can never form an opinion until they form one and make it a decision. what previous cases? you obviously support the h/c law, thus, you do in fact believe it is constitutional. either that or you support unconstitutional laws simply because it fits your world view.

Let's hear from you Yurt...time to end all your obfuscation and stalling.

so you still refuse to give YOUR opinion....i picked the topic, you get the opening statement, so far all i see is your LINKED post. if your position is....i don't know....then why even respond? why even give a link? why bash others who do not support the h/c law, if you don't even know if its constitutional?

show me your opening statement. until you do, you haven't debated anything.

What isn't constitutional. The government can do what ever it wants so long as it doesn't violate the bill of rights.

Yurt is incapable of debate. He only knows how to deflect and call his opponents trolls.

ironic coming from legion troll who lives in his mom's basement and dreams of one day having enough money to buy her pinto.....

whats next, you going to talk about my wife again? what a loser.

life, get one

What about lawyers? Arn't they also responsible. Don't law suites have any effect?

Very little. You are echoing a well funded myth created by the chamber of commerce and corporations to escape personal responsibility for their malfeasance.

Listen Yurt, your obfuscation is getting more and more apparent. There are 8 pages of this thread. I am NOT your fucking mommy. I will not bring you links. My posts are all on this very thread, go find them or send me your usual 'no thank you' act of submission.

You picked the topic...that is ALL you are able to decide. You want an opening statement to reply to...here it is:

The Affordable Healthcare Act is constitutional.

You're up Yurt...

It maybe constitutional but if it actually affordable?

What isn't affordable was the status quo. There are many good provisions in the bill that will address American's health and well being as well as addressing cost. As with any large piece of legislation, there will be changes and adjustments over the next decade or longer. It is a sound foundation that can be built on.

thats it? a blanket statement?

ok. if you want to debate like that.

the unaffordable healthcare act is not constitutional.

but, i will add more. there is nothing in the constitution that allows the federal government to force you to purchase a product, like an insurance financial product. if you believe there is, then you must also believe that the government can force you to purchase spandex. you cannot cite to anything in the constitution to support your position. if scotus ultimately agrees with you, whats next? spandex? where does the power to force you to purchase something stop?
