The Saudis are cutting oil production by 2 million barrels a day and world oil prices have started to climb. US oil production fell from a high of 13 million barrels a day under Trump to a low of 9.7 million barrels a day under Biden so you don't think the loss of over 3 million barrels a day from the world market effected the price of oil.

My point was (sorry to have to repeat it but you guys don't seem capable of reading) is that no matter how much you think Trump kept oil prices low, he didn't. He was as beholden to the Saudis (more dictators he likes) as every other president.

Oil prices are set globally. Not by the US.

why, we are producing more now than at any time under Trump. Trump had nothing to do with oil production. And you are an idiot, the price for a barrel of oil is set and Chevron is not going to sell us a barrel for a fucking dime less than Saudi Arabia does. And chevron is not going to pump a barrel of oil if it costs them $70/barrel to do it when they can buy it elsewhere for $60. Oil production in this country is controlled by the oil producers and the price of a barrel on the open market. The US president doesn't have a fucking thing to do with it.
