Having "a wake" is entirely different from "cuddling a dead corpse". How utterly "macabre". The position of liberals is no such thing, drama queen. The baby was dead...it wasn't alive. Who cuddles "the dead", in any event? Not to worry...Rick Santorum will only be as close to The White House, as a tour will allow him to be.

This "baby" thing is going right into bizarro land and as to Tinfoil's "liberals have no respect for human life" comment it's obvious people like him understand neither life, death nor God. First, Santorum talks about bringing little Gabriel home. There was no little Gabriel to bring home! Little Gabriel's spirit was gone. Our body is just a shell. And he goes on and on about the loss, the grief. Sure, little Gabriel was alive for two hours. For two hours they "knew" him. How many other children do they know who live in poverty every day? How many other children is Santorum aware of, or should be aware of as a politician representing people, who don't have enough to eat or proper clothes to wear?

Does he have any idea what mothers and fathers go through every day, the grief and sadness of not being able to properly feed their children?

Respect for life? People like Cain who say poverty is the fault of the poor individual. People like Newt who advocate children clean school toilets. People like Santorum telling us how important it was to acknowledge the two hour life of a fetus that hadn't even developed into a baby while he and his ilk tried to stop ObamaCare when a Harvard study shows 45,000 people die prematurely, every year, due to a lack of medical insurance.

Talking about respect for life? May their tongues rot inside their mouths.

A sibling die at birth? So tell me what loss YOU suffered. Did you miss playing ball with him/her? Going to the beach together? Playing hockey? Maybe board games? Watching cartoons together? Being in bed under the covers with a flash light telling stories? What loss did YOU suffer other than some imaginary bullshit told to you by someone else?

If your sibling died at birth you never had a sibling in any meaningful sense of the word. Someone did a number on you, my friend. Somewhere along the way someone twisted your thoughts or you witnessed someone's grief that wasn't properly handled/dealt with.

As for Santorum, sorry, I have very little sympathy for an individual who fought against embryonic stem cell research which has the potential to get people out of wheelchairs or having " spearheaded the debate in favor of Federal Marriage Amendment in 2004", a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution, no less, denying marriage between two loving persons. Such marriage restrictions have resulted in cases where one has been denied the right to visit their life partner who may be hospitalized or to speak for them when they were unable. Cases where a person has been thrown out of the "family" home because no legal contract had been drawn up between them.

You want to talk about a loss? Imagine the individual who loses a life partner of 10 or 15 years and while have been denied the right to see them hours before they died the deceased's relatives are taking legal action to have the surviving partner thrown out of the dwelling they shared and the furnishings confiscated. That, my friend, is loss. That is grief. And that is what the pig, Santorum, wanted to make the supreme law of the land. That is the grief and suffering he wanted to inflict on others and it appears you desire to do the same thing so Fuck You, right back at ya!

I feel better I got that off my chest. :)
