Hate crime laws are garbage and they were to be used as a foot-in-the door to hatespeech laws.
There are no hatespeech laws in America.

If all men are created equal, there is no need for hatecrime laws. A crime is a crime.

Hatecrime laws also bigly serve as a wedge between black and white Americans.

You held the position that murder was a conviction I didn't disagree. The law regarding convictions and the law defining murder are two laws.

So plural.

I think people are criminals if they engage in criminal Behavior and this person was. However he didn't deserve to be killed for it
