With Kushner it really was a school for the privileged. Apparently he didn't have particularly good grades but daddy donated 2.5 million to the school and voila!

Well who is? Doesn't it come down to personal opinion? Politicians aren't known to be the smartest or even have the most common sense of folks. They just happen to be the ones successful at getting votes. That doesn't mean they are sages.

He has no experience in most things he'd be advising a president on. He's another real estate guy, I don't get it. Trump trusts him, sure, but I think you need more than just that. Mind you if he gets Bannon kicked to the curb then he's definitely done something useful.
