Question for those who believe the planet is over populated. To your knowledge is there any proposed legislation you’re familiar with, either from individual nations or more globally like at the UN, attempting to reduce population growth?
The first thing that comes to my mind is China and their one child policy. (They’ve gone away from that I believe because of economic and demographic reasons).
In certain areas it’s possible more education on birth control or something along those lines?
Anything else?
(In our local paper they had an article a few years back on a small group of young men who thought the planet was overpopulated getting snipped - this was pre marriage and pre kids young men - but for that to have any type of global impact it would have to scale and hard to see that happening.)
