I don't know the details about Kamala's tenure as AG for Cali but I understand she may actually have some explainin' to do in regards to her record. But to be fair I believe the "tough on crime" folks usually don't complain much about non-violent offenders being locked up for ridiculously long sentences. Or worse.

Do you remember there was some dude in NY after the Central Park 5 were initially arrested who took out a full page ad in the NYT (that's EXPENSIVE...like REALLY expensive) demanding that the unconvicted Central Park 5 be put to death.
